Roberto,
I would normally do those as User policies.
Does the Computer have permission to access those drives. I am not sure how it could work assuming that each user has rights to their drive but I assume not to others.
Also, if you are going to make the personal drive available offline it may as well be the My Documents folder, redirected. Really the only point of a home drive now is to have a user folder that is NOT available offline, for example for archives.

Hello All,
i have a problem with GPO.... i
Windows 2003 Server Domain all patch. ENG Version
Client Windows XP SP3 (notebook HP)
On Computer Policy, under offline files i have
Allow or Disallow use of the Offline feature - Enable
Synhronize all offile files when logging on - Enable
Synhronize all offile files when logging off - Enable
Action on server Disconnect - Enable
Administratively assigned offline files:
I have tried many solution
VALUE NAME VALUE
\\server\share
\\server\share\
\\server\share\%username%
\\server\share\%username%\
P:\ (mapped share)
(i have tried only one and all)
Event logging Level - Enable (3)
Subfolder always available offline - Enable
(other is not configured)
Notes:
- all policies assigned (no error in EV and specified policies
correctly assigned)
- in Registry i see
\\HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Netcache
AlwaysPinSubfolders 1
Enabled 1
EventLoggingLevel 3
GoofflineAction 0
SyncatLogonff 1
Syncatlogon 1
\AssignedOfflineFolders
\\server\share
\\server\share\
\\server\share\%username%
\\server\share\%username%\
P:\ (mapped share)
i suggest is all ok...
I need... the user have automatic assigned personal share in offline
(gpo for notebook) and not need to manual enable (available offline
files)
I have tried force this in option share (on server) but no change
...no error in ev..
anyone suggestion ?
for workaround.....is possible force "Make available offline" with
Script (WSH or Powershell) ??
Thanks for your help
