Yes, you are right,
i have downloaded and run version for Vista, but after starting
installation
the dialog appears: This update isnt related to you system.
By the way, i need CZ version, as this Vista is in CZ localized.

Hi Florian,
kb943729 is only for XP SP2.
I have Vista business SP1 with Windows6.0-KB941314-x86_RSAT.msu
tool.
I cant open gpmc.msc directly. I have to run blank MMC and add gpmc
into.
After this I can browse my domain, open gpo, but I cant view Tab
called
Settings. Other Tabs are ok.
Uspecified error apears.
Can you advice?
Marek

could it be solution for W2k3 AD? or its only for W2k8That'll work with W2K3 AD as well. All you need is a Vista SP1
machine and the RSAT toolset installed on it in order to administer
Group Policy Preferences.
On the client machine side, you need to have the Client Side
Extensions (CSEs) installed. They come with windows update
kb943729, if I remember right.
cheers,
Florian
