"green questions" here in Germany, that makes it much easier.

I assume "Duplex" is no flag in the registry/printer software you can
find on every printer. Even if you Script it, I bet not every printer
vendor will call the the entry "enableduplex" or similar, what will cause
searching nearly senseless.

You still have the chance of buying a homogenous printers structure.
