Hey guys,
has anyone found a more attractive fix for the vista logon script
problem?
If you don't know what I'm refering to, with vista, logon scripts
won't run on local admin accounts due to issues with the UAC.
We're trying to use a GPO to map network drives but they're not being
mapped.
Could someone let me know why this is happening and possibly how to
fix it?
I guess your referring to the following article:http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsVista/en/library/5ae8da2a-878e-4...
and have deployed the logon script attached at the end of the file?
Another good solution for this would be making people normal users on
their workstations.

Florian

What exactly would be the difference between allowing users to be
local admins and being local power users? I would hate to go to all
of our computers to install their software for them. Would the
scripts run if they were local power users?
.
