You might want to check the application event log on that system for MSInstaller and Application Management errors. The approach you're using is correct but something about the uninstall is not happy. You might also want to enable more verbose MSI logging (by enabling the policy at computer configuration\admin. templates\windows components\installer\logging) and see what that turns up.

Hi all,

We have one application that assigned to the users through group policy.
Now, we need to remove the application. So, I went to software policy to
remove the appliction and choose uninstall it from users immediately. When
users logon to the computers, it is saying "removeing the managed
application...". but, when I checked it, the files are still there and
services are there too.

Do you know why appli can not be uninstalled? the right method?
