Re: GPMC in Vista SP1 beta missing

If you are on the Server 2008 Beta, you can get the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Vista, SP1. That is the new AdminPak and will be the ship vehicle for GPMC in Vista, SP1.

Okay, thanks Morgan. It least that is a better answer than saying it is available for download when in fact it is not.

You really need to seperate the Release Candidate from the will-be officially released Service Pack 1. In all documentation (at least the ones that I had in my hands) it clearly says "SP1" which refers to the final version of the Service Pack, whereas the Release Candidate still is not the final product.

So it's not just a fact of "it should be able available according to the docs but it isn't" but a fact of the Service Pack is just not ready - and so isn't GPMC for Vista SP 1.

cheers,

Florian
