Then think about using DFS for the shares where the apps lie. That's best
practice since you'll go nuts if you have to do the same procedure once
more just because you replace that file server ;)


I will do, I'm lucky enough to have a bit of free time to look into it, we
only have one file server, I do have 2 identical DC's though (hardwarewise)
with some spare diskspace so I might look to move them off our File server
and onto there, this might work better in the longterm as I am looking at
virtualising the DC's with VMware in the future, so to have everything in
one place in an image that can be easily brought online again in the event
of failure would be good.

Hmmmm, now here's a longshot, could I potentially put the AIPs in
\\domain\SYSVOL as this is replicated anyway?
