Re: Notepad 'removed' from startmenu (GPO)

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hello AlexV,

Is your server 2003, then GPMC gives you a good readable overview from all your configured policies. Check also your login script, maybe it is removed theire.

Best regards

Hi,

We have several GPO's and one of them is removing notepad from the
start menu. only normal users experience this.

I saved a GP Results report from a pc (for Dom. Admin and regeular
user) as html files so I could searched for "notepad", but without any
results.

Does anyone has an idea how I can find the corresponding GPO which
removes notepad?

regards,
Alex
