I haven't browsed the boards in a while so sorry for replying so late. You
probably already answered your own question but the answer is yes.

I'm quite new to GPO's, I'm I correct to say the if you don't want this
setting to be applied to everyone, remove "authenticated users" from
Security Filter" and add a group here.

Look into "Loopback processing." Basically, when enabled it will apply
all user settings of a GPO to the computer. Keep in mind that this will
be applied to _anyone_ that logs into the machine.
Here is a link that should get you started.

Is there a way to set the IE hompage using a computer based GPO? I know
it
can be done under Internet Explorer Maintenance but that does not help
me
since it is a user based setting. Any help would be appreciated.
