Re: Admin Template to force users of on a particular computer.

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Here is the url you are after: http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/9687f84f-8cd0-4cde-81c0-53c65a42a0c31033.mspx?mfr=true

I've never heard of winexit.scr, but it appears to be part of the Windows 2000 resource kit.

Obviously you need some way to distribute winexit.scr if you haven't already, but once you've put it in the same folder as the rest of them then I assume it would just be a matter of setting the screen saver through the normal group policy for screen savers. No ADM required.

For heaps of group policy resources see www.gpoguy.com including a REG to ADM converter.

Cheers,
Jeremy.

Can someone please help me by providing me with a group policy template to
force any user of a particular computer if they have been idle for 60 minutes.
I believe that it can be done by changing the screen saver to use
winexit.exe.

If you could also point me to a url that explains the creation of these
templates and a list of fields that can be used it would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
