Re: Pushing EXE file through group policy

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Do know that ZAP files can not be pushed out to the clients, but are merly a
pull operation from the clients (zap files can only be published via GPO not
assigned!).
ZAP files are merly a wrapper (read: unattened install) around an
executables...

Have a look at

Hope this helps.

How can I push an exe file through group policy and install it
automatically to the clients machine silently. Also, there is a license
acceptance part to it, how can that be automated?

You may be able to create a ZAP file to push this out. Specops Deploy
allows you to deploy EXE or other legacy packages via Group Policies
and gives you detailed feedback on all progress.
All this without Site servers, another infrastructure or additional
hardware.
More information can be found at the following
