You may use the GPO to not load the roaming profile (use a local one
instead) and one other that doesn't update the roaming profile on logoff.
Put all these special workstation in a separate OU or in a group on which
you will apply these GPO.

that occasionally log on to other pcs to do scanning, and go back and
forth
all day, how does that affect the roaming profile.
Does a roaming profile save the last place you log on? What's typically

best method when a few users sign on to the same computer for other work
related items? Would it be best to create on universal log on for one pc.
Anyone have any exerience in this or have any suggestions.
