Hi Leutz!
I did create my own policies with my own category structure. That means I
have made my own .adm file and added it to the administrative templates of
my GPO.
Now I want to use the Report of the GPMC (Group Policy Management Console).
But, the report shows mostly the original structure of the microsoft adm
templates.
For instance:
POLICY "Testpolicy"
KEYNAME "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer"
PART "Eintrag Programmzugriff und Standards festlegen ausblenden"
CHECKBOX
VALUENAME "NoSMConfigurePrograms"
ValueON NUMERIC 01
ValueOFF NUMERIC 00
END PART
END POLICY
So. Now I expect to see a Report structure like this...
Administrative Templates
Testpolicy
Policy
Setting
Eintrag Programmzugriff und Standards festlegen ausblenden
Enabled
But!!! The GPMC makes a structure like this
Administrative Templates
Startmenu and Taskbar
Policy
Setting
Remove Set Programm Access and Defaults from Start menu
Enabled
I cannot exactly explain why the GPMC keeps the old unorganized structure of
windows adm files although I removed the adm files from the GPO...
How can I repair the bug?!? if it is possible... but i think it is possible
because it do not happen at all!
Greatz
FernandeZ
