Re: Create GP Objects from SYSVOL files

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

You do know that the disk stored is only part of how GPOs are
stored, right? with the other part being in Active Directory.

Hi,

I am creating a new server using files from an old server, I want use
the same Group Policy Objects, how can I create the objects from the
files in \WINDOWS\sysvol\domain\Policies ?

The folders are:
{6AC1786C-016F-11D2-945F-00C04fB984F9}
{7FCF8CD0-1DB3-449A-89CC-A9742A65DE4B}
{8B2E74BA-1C8C-4C31-8FFA-E1843B963B95}
etc.

Each one contains a policy from the old server.

Thanks,
Trent. :)
