When connected over the VPN, does a gpupdate /force bring down the policies to the machine/user??

Okay...I'm having issues getting Group Policys on computers over a VPN that are using WiFi. They work just fine if I use the internal NIC but not if they connect using WiFi.
I've adjusted the slow link to 0, and like I said it works fine for those using the wired connection, the wireless doesn't.
I'm using SonicWalls TZ170W for the remote wireless network which connects over the Internet using a VPN to a SonicWall TZ170 which is where the AD server is located. I have the machines wireless adapter to connect to Domain Controller before login.
Any ideas? I'm stumped.
Thanks!
