Prevent opening Outlook attachments for EDITING

Hi,
We try to have a policy of not having documents saved on the C drive, but
Outlook let's people open Word attachments directly. Some users then EDIT
these documents, and hit "Save". They end up in Temprary Internet Files,
then they lose them.
I realize it's nice to be able to open the document directly for READING,
but I don't like it when they do it for EDIT.
Is there anything I can do about this.
(I can't see a newsgroup for Office Group Policy)
