LSDOU and then multiple GPOs linked at the same level will process in
order. Use the GPMC to see the order and modify it if necessary.

What the specific GPOs are is irrelevent. It Will process 1) Local Policy,
then 2) Site linked policy, 3) Domain linked policy, and finally OU linked
policies down the tree to the object.

Like was stated there is no way to know where you have those GPOs linked.

I am reading the Small Business Server 2003 "Unleashed" by Sams
Publishing. It is discussing Group Policy Inheritance and Processing
Order. It has become apparent to me that my installation does not match
that which they reference in the book. For example they make reference to
"Small Business Server Windows Firewall" being the first processed. In
reality it is 5th to process in my management console. It seems, because
of inheritance, this matters. They do not go into great detail of the
order and the screen shot in the book does not give me a clear picture of
what I'm guessing the default setting are.

Could anybody please confirm with me what the default order of these
policies objects should be? Mine are currently as follows;

1. Default Domain Policies
2. Small Business Server Domain Password Policy
3. Small Business Server Remote Assistance Policy
4. Small Business Server Lockout Policy
5. Small Business Server Windows Firewall
6. Small Business Server Internet Connection Firewall
7. Small Business Server Client Computer

Thanks in advance for any input offered.

Regards - Trevor
