Re: Deploy office 2003 to XP workstations

Hi,

I enabled the policy GPO using GPMC, I'm able to see the setting. Then I did

package in computer configuration, then move a few workstations into this
OU. Anything I'm still missing?

Perhaps one of the easiest mistakes: Share and NTFS permissions?
To get around any problem, set it to Everyone (or Auth.Users) -> read

Does any other Setting/GPO from this OU apply?
On XP run a rsop.msc and eventviewer, are there any problems
related to the softwaredeployment (eg ID 108, 105 etc) and not
only 1030 and 1058

BTW, I'm using a laptop to do this test.
Would laptop work with this policy?

If it is inside the OU, if you didn´t filtered the GPO with security
settings or you didn´t create a specific WMI filter, than: Yes. :-)
