when you mean local machine do you mean a DC or the machine the xml was
changes to the XML file, etc.
Don't know what's going on, I just tried it again, and it worked... No
The only things that have changed has been:
1) This month's patches
2) PDC got upgraded to R2 from 2K3 SP1 (ad schema had been done in March).
Go figure...
