it's the bat file what you have typed wrong.. it should be

net use x: \\servername\apps /user:username password

Hi there,

I am try to run a startup script ( .bat file ) to coonect to a remote
server
upon startiing up the machine before login on Windows 2003 sp1 box.
this is my .bat file

net use x: \\servername\apps password /user:username

I placed this script in the
c:\windows\system32\Grouppolicy\machine\scripts\startup folder and enabe
it
in GPedit.msc .

It never work for be upon restart ? any ideas what's going on here
