From your post, my understanding on this issue is: You want to know how to
prevent the user from ripping CDs to HDD in Windows Media Player by group
policy . If I'm off base, please feel free to let me know.

Based on my research, we can not disable the CD ripping function of
Windows
Media player by group policy.

I completely understand your frustrations with this issue and I want to

Is there a way to prevent the ripping of CDs to the hard drive on Windows
Media Player? I don't want to completely disable it, but I want the CD to
be
required in order to play music. I don't see anything like that in the
wmplayer.adm

Please help. Thank you.
