Re: Deploying sw via group policy issue!! PLEASE HELP!!

I have rebooted my PC twice but to no avail. I have ran gpupdate, gpupdate
/force and gpresult from the command line, yet it shows that the policy is
being applied. However when i reboot the PC and my desktop appears, control
panel/start menu does not show any new programs.

I do notice that when i reboot my pc it states "applying s/w installation
settings" followed by "installing managed FPP dashboard" which is the
application name, however still nothing appears...

I have checked the policy properties ..i .e under security tab... i have
checked the system and it has full control including a tick next to "apply
group policy"

i have checked the msi file by just double clicking it on my pc without
applying any kind of policy and it starts the installation setup phase which
suggests the msi file looks fine...

Any ideas on what else to check? any other permissions?
maybe i could email you screen dumps of my problem so you could see? PLEASE
HELP... Thanks..

Vijay
