Blocking Outlook 2003 Menu Features

Hi everyone,

My company is trying to remove the ability of users to create archives in Outlook 2003. We have enabled the GP that removes Automatic Archiving, but the menu item Archive still appears in the File menu and allows users to manually create archives.

I found a reference listing Command ID 1886 as the one to block in the following Group Policy key:

User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Microsoft Office Outlook 2003/Disable items in user interface/Custom.

When I added that Command ID to the GP, however, it made no difference.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do I need to do something else to remove that File menu item?

Thanks!

Mike
