RSoP.msc not showing User Rights Assignment (vs. GPEdit.msc)

Hi All.

I'm currently tring to learn a bit about Windows Security Policies.

Could anyone explain the following to me:
If I edit the Local Computer Policy (via GPEdit.msc) and look under
[Configuration -> Windows -> Security Settings -> Local Policy -> User
Rights Assignment] I can see all User Right Settings that are
configured on the PC.

But if Invoke RSoP.msc - which as I understand should show me the
effective policies (from domain and local) - the 'Computer Setting'
column of the UserRightsAssignment will only show 'Not defined' for all
Policies.
If I [Display all GPOs and filtering status] for the Computer
Configuration (in RSoP.msc) it will show up that Local Group Policy has
'Filtering not applied (Empty)'.

My machine is member of a domain, but it is not an active directory
domain.

any comments welcome!
thanks, best regards,
Martin
