All settings are fine
I do find that after using all the MS KB articles I can find on this
subject, and clearly there are issyes with Server2003 SP1 and XP, SP2 and
GP, after a gpresult the user section does NOT list the GPO on the
workstation that is having the problem; if I go to a workstation that works
with GPO's, the user section does list the proper GPOs for this user.
Something is prohibiting the clearing and updating of the GPO's on the
workstation side, not the server side.
