Hi Jerry,
We may try the following?steps to manually modify this in Registry.
1. Click Start->Run, type "regedit" without the quotation marks and then
press
Enter.
2. Locate the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg
3. In the right pane, double-click the CurrentPowerPolicy item.
4. Replace the Valua data to "0" (zero) without the quotation marks.
5. Click OK then close Registry Editor.
Let me know if you need to know more about the settings.
Sincerely,
Carsyn Gu

| Carsyn,
|
| Thanks. However, what I'd like to know is where in Group Policy I can
| find the power settings you've mentioned. I've looked through, but I
might
| have missed them. Either that, or you're referring to defining a custom
| policy. I just haven't been able to find power schema settings in Group
| Policy. The closest I've found is under User Configuration\Administrative
| Templates\System\Power Management, but that only deals with passwords for
| resuming from hibernation.
|
| Any help you can provide in finding these settings would be great.
|
| Thank you,
| Jerry
