Great answer and just to add for original poster that you can managed XP
Group Policy in a Windows 2000 domain per the link below in order to be able
to manage the extra settings that apply to XP Pro computers. If you use and
XP Pro computer to do such you will need to logon to it as a domain admin so
be sure that computer is a secured workstation [keyboard loggers, etc]. ---
