remove domain gp settings

I have an XP machine w/ SP2 that was joined to our domain for the purpose of
installing several software packages via SMS. This machine has now been
unjoined from the domain and I want to image it with the SMS OSD imaging
wizard.

Problem: The domain's security policies required strong passwords, 8 char
minimum, etc., and I've discovered that these policies are still in force on
the standalone workstation. When I go into the local security policy (logged
on as the local admin), all of these password-related policy settings are
greyed out, preventing me from changing them.

How can I enable these policies again, so I can change them? The OSD imaging
wizard requires the ability to set a blank administrator password, so I'm
stuck at the moment.

Thanks,
Mike
