    Have you tried the keyname
    "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer", without any
    suffix?

    This appers to work for Explorer settings that are normally found in
    "Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced", so it might
    work for User Shell Folders as well.

    Not sure of the logic with this or where it might be documented.
