Hi

I don't think this is something that would be generally recommended. There
are some aspects of group policy that don't re-apply even if you run a
gpupdate (eg. Software installation to the computer configuration).

You're better off forcing a reboot of the client machines. You can use
shutdown.exe to reboot a machine across the network with a delay and a
message to advise users that they should save their work.

You might write a script to do this for all computers in a specific OU.
