Easy q regarding Gpupdate.exe and logon scripts

Easy question:

does not get refreshed until the workstation is restarted. But, (from what I
understand) you can manually refresh it using gpupdate.exe (under xp).
So, I'm assuming it's possible to put gpupdate into the logon script so the
computer config changes will be passed down. Is there any reason why this
would be a bad idea? The reason I ask is that my users rarely reboot their
PCs.
