Hi
I've been been blocking access to the internet through IE6 by
establishing a GPO policy that assigns a fake/non-existent proxy
address to the users in that GPO. Worked great! Suddenly, though, I
see it has stopped working. My students in the lab are accessing the
internet unhindered. I logged on as a student to see what was going
on, and in fact the policy is getting applied and they have the pseudo
address, 10.0.0.1, but to no effect. And when I manually added the
proxy to my own machine, again no effect.
This worked for over a year. Any ideas on what has changed on my
network?
Thanks
