Live update with GP

Trying to get Norton Live update to run with group policy
in place. If the user has local administrative rights and
the GP is applied live update will run. To my
understanging the GP settings override all local
administrative rights, but i would rather not have to set
all users to local administrators on each system. So my
question is, is there any where within GP to allow that
scheduled task to run, without changing each user to be a
local administrator?
