    Hi Gary,
    I checked the membership, and no one is in the Guests group (domain or local).
    There is some extra for the environment, the domain is still in Mixed Mode and has a NT4 as a DC (appears in the domain controllers OU, which is abnormal, isn' t it? The Domain Functional Level is "windows Server 2003 interim"). The workstation is WinXP. and the NTConfig.pol has the policy disabled (the check box is cleared.)

         of the Guests (directly or indirectly) group then their profile will be
         deleted when they logoff the machine. You may want to check the domain
         "Domain Guests" and local Guests groups for membership.
