Re: How Move Roaming Profile Folder To New Drive

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Mike,
you can use for this purpose ROBOCOPY command line utility with the /SEC
switch. Keep in mind that you also need to recreate respective shares (and
assign permissions on the share level - assuming that you restrict access
this way)...

I am reconfiguring and upgrade my small AD domain running Windows 2003 and
Windows 2008 domain controllers. I need to move my HomeFolders and
roaming
Profiles shares to a new disk array. How can I move these most easily and
retain the permissions currently assigned to these folders?
