Questions
======
Is your computer configured for standby or hibernation ? NO in the control pannel power option I have standby and Hibernation set to never.

If not , then please run antivirus on your system for possible virus or
trojans.

I have AVG running and have done a couple of complete scans. I have also
used MicroTrends "Housecall" AV scan and found no virus, just adware/tracking
cookies.

if you dont have any virus attack on system then , please confirm the below

a) what happens when you restart your OS ? It starts ok but when I click on any desktop Icon the I con name is highlighted in Blue and wants to be renamed. I just hit the right arror key and press enter.

b) Is this behavior happens for consequitive logons. Yes if my computer couple of hours it happens. If only for 15 minutes it doesn't happen.

c) how do you over come this problem as stated above I select the right arror key and press enter.

I do leave my computer on 24/7 but reboot daily.
