dear maur,
I'm having the same exact problem as you are.
I'm also running Windows 2003 SBS Standard R2 with all the updates till 03 July 2008.
I've also initially formatted the hard drive with Acronis Disk director suite 9.0.554. Have tried everything, RAM tests came out ok, tried different hard drives, changed the raid card, I've got 2x WD 250GB sata in a mirror configuration. I'm inclined to blame acronis for the lousy disk partitioning, because after I've tried to redimension the partition sizes using Norton Partition Magic 8, and the latest came up with an error straight away regarding the previous partitioning done by acronis and warning me that the current partition table could lead to data corruption and loss.
My current configuration is:
- Server box w/ 600W power suplly
- Gigabyte MB P35C-DS3
- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
- 2 x 1GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz
- Raid card Sil 3512A up to the latest firmware
- 2 x WD Caviar SE 250GB Sata II HDD
- DVD-RAM Asus Sata
- Nvidia 7300LE card
Software:
- Windows 2003 SBS ENG R2 up to the latest updates, configured as a file server, Domain controller and Exchange Server.
- Firebird Sql server
- Xerox printer server.
If you have found a solution for this problem please let me know. Best regards.
