Hello Nick.V.,
I think you have to use a BartPE for startup and some recovery tools to find folders/files on your disk. With this kind of steps you have taken i think you have no chance on another way to find some old data.

Hi.
I made a "disk to disk" ghost copy of a windows 2000 server
installation.
After ghost ,i could operate the destination disk just fine and i
could boot
windows and then i formatted the source disk.
When i plugged the destination disk using a "ide to usb" adaptor to
the
newly windows installation the system hanged up, i aggreed to the
"write
signature" dialog box ,and my pc freezed. when i restarted my pc i
couldn't
see my data and the disk seemed to be a basic unpartitioned disc.
I supposed that my disk was dynamic and i tried to recover using
dskprobe
utility and convert the system id bit from 42 to 07.
The first time i handled this disk i couldn't find this value (42) ,i
closed
diskprobe ,i opened disk manager and my disk reference had changed to
Dynamic.
I used again dskprobe and i handled the disk and then found this value
and i
changed it to 07. Now my disk reference is basi unformated and i can't
get
my data.
How can i get back my data?
