Hello Ron,

Do you use roaming profiles?

This is on a relatively new laptop so I guess you could say it is a
fresh install of XP.

We are using Windows XP with Windows Server 2003. We use roaming
profiles for all of our users. I have one user that cannot
permanently remove certain word or excel files from his desktop. I
have deleted them and then removed them from his roaming profile and
from his local profile and they still come back onto his desktop the
next time he logs in. I have deleted and recreated both his roaming
and local profile which seemed to work for a while but then these
same files suddenly re-appear. Where else could they be coming from?
