You won't be able to do that without the use of a third party boot manager. If you have swapped the drives around you might try a repair installation of Vista

It's only data. That KB article is a little confusing. If I have two
seperate hard drives, how do I configure the BCD to recognize each drive.
The way I had it before was that it would boot off the old XP drive and then
switch over to my SATA for Vista. Now I have it configured to boot off my
SATA and have removed my old IDE. So how do I configure it to boot the old
way after I reinstall an XP IDE drive?
And maybe more important, if I decide not to reinstall an XP drive, do I
need to do anything to make sure my Vista is booting up properly?
Thanks so much for your help.
