Hi all,
My question is related to naming...or more specifically adding text to
multiple files in one step as compared to naming each file individually.
Is
there a way to do this?
For example: say I have 5 files selected each with a different name...say
File 1, File 2, File 3, File 4 and File 5...and I want to add the text "A"
to
each of them without having to remame each seperately so all 5 files will
read A File 1, A File 2, A File 3, etc.
Thank you very much in advance!! :)
As far as I know there is no native function in Windows to do
this. I can think of two options:
a) Use Google to find a suitable freeware product, or
b) Use a batch file to perform the renaming for you.
Post again if you need to know more about option b).
