Re: Disk quota after users migration

Thanks and I also have a different scenario.

I'm also migrating user from from Domain A to Doman B, but still connect to
the same file server where the disk quota is configured. After the migration,
their disk quota setting is not copied over, it has been configured to the
default disk quota setting.

For example
For folder \\server\data, disk quota default setting for all users is 100MB.
But for managers is 1GB. After the user migration to different domain, the
managers, developers and IT department users disk quota setting has been
configured to the default setting, which is 100MB though they still connect
to the same file server.

Any workaround?

We have migrated one of our domain controllers from Win2K to Win2K3 but
didn't experience such trouble however. Is restoring the initial quotas
manually out of question? (I know it doesn't answer your question but I
wanted to point to a migration which didn't produce loss of quota
settings.)
