Try running Disk Cleanup, from time to time

I just discovered that my C drive C:\Documents and Settings\Local
Settings\Temp is clogged up with huge temp files which is taking up
gigabytes
of precious hard disk space. Are these files necessary or can they be
deleted? Is there any way to prevent building up such huge temp files?
