We are already using 2 nodes Clustered File/Print server with all theis
mentioned settings. The problem is the partition/LUN for the shared disk
1.5TB and recently there is a file system issue and we have to spend 2days
of downtime to perform chkdsk. You can imagine the number of complaints
from the end users.
ah.. OK ! Yes, I have seen this manytimes, at design stage someone chooses a
large partition size, and forgets about chkdsk.
and then something bad happens, and down you are...
so,
on your storage, you need to get multiple smaller disks (again, cluster uses
disks, not partitions)
1 disk will have a drive letter, the others will be mount points to this,
