I am trying to redesign our file server and really need some advices.
Current setup:
2 nodes clustering.
1 node as File Server and 1 node as Print Server.
File share partition size is 1.5TB.
I thinking of doing the following but not sure whether is it possible.
Clustering remain unchange.
Break the current parition into smaller size (about 200GB).
Use Mount Point to for creating of file share on those partitions.
Setup another server at a remote site (non-clustered).
Setup DFS replication to replicate data from the Clustered File server to
the remote server.
In case of DR, we will use the remote server as the file server.
There are some restriction on DFS usage on a clustered file server so I am
not sure will this work. Your advise will be very much appreciated.
