this forum is dedicated to file system, not windows errors...anyway, this prompt comes each time an application fails, which may occurs many time. Services may fails many times while not logged on, and these prompts comes when you then log on. It may also start/fails many times.

There is this feature where Microsoft gives the impression that the User is
in control, but everyone knows the truth. The TASK MANAGR is but an
allusion. I've used it at many times when all it did was look pretty. You
go through a cycle of End Task, End Now, Don't Send. Sometimes when bored I
will go through the chcle 20 or more times with no indication that my
"commands" are being heard, much less obeyed.
What do I need to know?
