Perhaps contact tech for this high end card and see if they have any
suggestions as to card/raid specific settings

Were these hardware/cpu equiped raid cards - usually costing approx
or software raid cards - much much cheaper -?

OK, I am at a complete loss, perhaps someone here can shed some light
on this.
System:
Dual core 3.2, 2 gig RAM and XP pro
Captures image data from 6 cameras.
30 frames/sec x 6 = 180/sec w/ each image about 4k
Stored in a directory tree, where top level is 6 directories
for each camera. Under which a new directory
is created every hour, under which a new directory is created
every minute, under which a new one every
second.
Problem:
With 3 drives attached to raid controller, at RAID 0, the
system grinds to a halt after about 2 hours.
I have tried 3 different raid cards all with the same effect.
With 3 drives set up as dynamic drives and partitioned as a
container across the drives via Windows OS
I experience the same effect.
With a single drive formated and partitioned I have NO
problems.
Does anyone understand this?
