Re: Crashed Win2K System

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Definitely not what I was looking to hear, but Thanks. I'm sure I have most
but know that I don't have all of the original media. Too much moving and
storage.
but again, Thanks

My win2k system crashed. I recovered 103gig out of 130gig. Can I
reinstall
win2k and then copy the recovered data (excluding windows dir) and then
copy
the registry files into windows\system32\config? I should probably
restate
the last question because I am sure that I can do it, but will it allow
me
to run my old programs?

Thanks
Scott

This is very unlikely to work. Your best bet is to re-install
your old programs from the original media.
