Hello,
This can be done without any scripting knowledge with a product called
DSRAZOR for Windows.
There are applets that will walk through the ACLs of every object on a
volume, directory path, or share and compile a list of the Trustees, which
files they have permissions to access, what those permissions are, how the
ACE applies, and whether or not those permissions were inherited.
DSRAZOR for Windows also does this in Active Directory itself so that you
can find out which objects certain users or groups have access to.

Hello group,
I looking for a method to determine what resources a given global security
group is applied to. For example, say I have an AD global security group
called HR.Managers which is applied to several resources scatered over an
NTFS volume on a file server. I need to be able to reveal all the various
directories that this group is applied to. Finding the same information
for
shared folders would be a bonus as well.
What's the best method to pull this off?
Thanks in advance,
JPenrose MCSE
