I dont know if I am in the right area to ask this question but here goes.

I have a temp folder set up for my users. I want somehow to have some kind
of script/executeable that will allow the user to put in another folder
name
and then automatically copy all files i the first folder into the named
folder without any other user intervention.

Is this possible

I think you need to think about your requirements in some
more detail. What you're saying at the moment is this:

- Watch a certain parent folder.
- If a new child folder appears in this parent folder, grab all files
from child folder xxx and place them into the newly created
folder.

To me this sounds for a perfect way to create confusion among
users. It will result in posts like this one: "I saved this file and
five minutes later Windows had deleted it all by itself." At the
very least you would need this:
- A tight specification of what you want to happen.
- A mechanism for the user to initiate the move.
- Feedback to the user so that he knows what's happened.
